Two years ago during the governal elections I was a part of a group called "Don't vote? Then don't ______" (gotta keep this family friendly!) In heart, I am still a part of that. Since it's our duty and responsibility as American citizens to vote, anyone who doesn't has no right, over the next four years, to complain about the government, the economy, the war, anything of that nature, because you missed your opportunity to make a change. You may think that your one vote won't make a difference-but I think that we all learned our lesson on that one eight years ago.
I am not telling you who to vote for, or what to vote for-just do it, and be educated about it.
We sent in our absentee ballots over a week ago. (I am secretly sad that they didn't send us an "I voted!" sticker in our packets...) So tomorrow, after we go get our free coffee from Starbucks for voting (see their
website for info) we will be watching to see what happens in this sure to be historic election!

I completely agree with you! People should complain if they didn't make an effort to make a change. I'll be getting my free cup of coffee tomorrow! :)
