The drive was SO long, and let me tell you what I'm sure glad we don't have to do that too often. Evie was wonderful on it... she slept pretty much the entire time! It took us 18 hours to get there and 15 to get back. On the way back we had left Canton at about 5am, hoping to be home by 8 or 9... but guess what happened in our brand new car? The tire blew! We're headed up to the dealership tomorrow to try and get reimbursed or something for it... between the towing and the new tire we spent quite the little amount. And this was the DAY AFTER we went in for an oil change!
The reception was beautiful and more magnificent than I could have ever hoped for. I got to see so many people that I haven't seen in awhile due to being gone, and it was just an amazing time... the flowers and decorations were unbelievable-I had a hard time remembering that this was my party! So many thanks are due to all who were involved in the preparation, and I hope we can truly express how grateful we are for everything. My rolls of pictures will be back on Thursday, and hopefully I'll get ones back from my cousin Kristen before long so I will post those as soon as I can.
We did, however, finally give in and buy a digital camera! We have been really busy the past couple of days redoing our apartment-we had painted before we left for Christmas leave but the rest we just now did. I'll post a few to give you an idea of how it is now... COMPLETELY different than what it started as! We love love love it and can't get over that this is ours. It's truly now a home.

moved the Christmas lights from the front window to the back porch... it makes it really cozy out there!
