Stalking the MEU... again

Yeah I'm not obsessed-I just like an adventure, and lets face it, some of this military stuff is pretty neat. I do see it and live it every day, but its still fun. And it was a beautiful, gorgeous day, and Vanessa and I had nothing better to do. So we packed up the girls and headed up the coast to Morehead City!

Vanessa's husband, Antonio, is on these ships, getting ready to leave in a couple of months, this is just training. They leave out of Morehead City and do training in various places. So it's kind of fun for them to see... but I can't imagine how it must be to know your husband is right there but you can't see him or talk to him for x amount of days till they are done!

Don't know how, but we just kind of stumbled upon them, hahaha. We went with no plan, but it worked out just fine. When we got there, this was the only one off shore-can you see it in the distance?
