President Obama came to town!

By now everyone knows what the big announcement about the war was-we've known it for awhile. But the cool thing was-he came to Camp Lejeune to do it. Only a number of tickets were given out for the event, and only to Military personnel (another rant but I'll keep that to myself) but that didn't keep Maya and I from camping out there on the road for six hours to catch a glimpse. Unfortunately, we are both sporting windburnt faces now... and I feel like an awful mommy :( but here are a few... the rest are on my poor neglected Flickr.
