I'll make this as simple as I can for those who don't understand it: in the Marine Corps there are three different levels of rifleman... marksman (lowest), sharpshooter (middle) and expert (best). These are based on a point system reflecting how well you did during your time at the range. Patrick kicked some tail and shot expert!
It's been a long week of waking up at 3am (I go back to sleep after he leaves, but not for an hour or two due to waking up to make his lunch, having to get comfortable again, the baby waking up and kicking me, etc) and we've been complete zombies since Monday... but it's done now and completely worth it!
