When the babies were born, they "brought Maya a present"... we didn't want it to be just some other toy (because heaven knows she doesn't need even ONE more) so we got her one of those
butterfly kits. She loved it-we let them go last night!
This one had an injury. Thankfully Maya didn't realize he couldn't fly. We put him on the patio table and went inside so she could watch him hanging out on the table-then when she went to bed Patrick made sure he "flew away" before morning.
She was trying to get him to fly, bless her heart... I'm so glad she didn't accidentally kill it right there!
