Happenings/Pictures/Maya Update

Now that Patrick is getting back to work, we're getting a little more of a schedule down. I definitely think that all the time off he's had has been super nice but hard to get us all back on track... all I'll say without word vomiting is adjustment is hard. Still. We'll get there!

Maya's been a complete blast lately, though! This is SUCH a fun age (most of the time!) I forgot to post the pictures from our visit to the Children's Museum in Wilmington awhile ago! Sooo much fun...

Bananas, of course!

No, we didn't tell her to do this. We put her on the chair and handed her the toothbrush and she knew what to do! Though we had to stop her before she put it all the way in...

The little stinker has been challenging us a lot, though... she learned how to not only climb on the couch but climb onto the back of the couch. These pictures are only for demonstration purposes (just as a disclaimer! I was RIGHT there-don't want anyone thinking we're awful parents!)

Apparently I was a climber as a toddler... she's taking after her mama for sure.

She's been sick a couple more times lately (I think allergies are causing it...) she's on a breathing treatments twice a day for a month as an asthma preventative (which are awful to give her, moreso when we have to put Albuterol in it because it takes a half hour then) and she had another ear infection, which the amoxicillin from that gave her the diaper rash from hades so we had to revert back to disposable diapers for quite a few days. So much fun.

Peekaboo!

Two top teeth came in about 12 hours in between each other!

She's a solid 22 pounds now, still tall and thin. She's a champ eater most of the time (prefers veggies over anything else... WHOSE child is this?!) She asks for a banana first thing when she wakes up in the morning. Her words are mama & dada of course, Evie, milk, puppy, duck, banana, pretty, tree, hi, balloon, book, and bug. Milk is particularly hilarious because it's more like milky. She runs everywhere and is a kenniving little thing when it comes to getting something she wants. She figured out how to open the gate to the kitchen yesterday so now we have to make sure and lock it! Other favorites right now are Wonderpets, balloons, and her books!
