Emerald Isle fun!

Today Patrick and I woke up nice and early after a night of storms... well it was only about a 20 minute storm, but it was vicious-hail, strong winds, and all. So we got up and made delicious blueberry muffins and took three hours moseying about wondering what we'd do for the day...

Then it was just so nice out we decided to go to Emerald Isle! (When we went through Swansboro on the way there at 1:00 it was 85 degrees, on the way back a little after 4 it was 89)

All we did was go to the same place we went to last year, Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf, played a round of putt putt and went on the go-carts but it was so much fun. We have a blast together, so it's not hard to make for a fun day. Here are some pictures...

The pro

I knew it... I knew I could smell Jasmine, the smell of Aunt Gayle's house in Florida... I looked around, and sure enough, quite a big bush of it too! I smelled and smelled and didn't want to go away from it.

Then we saw this little duck family. Here is mom and baby... soo cute!

And then there is the daddy, getting dinner or something. Entertaining at least.

Little baby and myself!

Patrick on the go-carts... I snuck this picture whilst driving... I hid the camera in my pocket.
