August

August was SO busy... another two weeks of visitors made it fly by!
One of, I think, the most hysterical pictures I've ever taken:
Boone Hall Plantation
We went to the beach, Hurricane Earl was about 300 miles off the coast... tides were high and riptides were horrible (we don't swim in the ocean, knee high is the rule, so no one worry)....
The hurricane had washed tons of jellyfish ashore-we were talking about them, and I took this picture...
A couple of minutes later, we realized that at some point-when she was walking through the water or walking along the beach (I even almost stepped right on one) she was stung. We left immediately and gave her LOTS of TLC over the next few days... she was a trooper!
In Savannah, we went to Lady & Sons again... and the Deen brothers were there! They were SO nice!
Standing on the yellow footprints Daddy stood on over four years ago... which he does not remember at all!
Our trees are rapidly dropping leaves-I'm a bit surprised it's happening so soon. It's still 90 every day!
